Buzz was a crab boat owner and fished Alaskan king crab in the Bering Sea for over twenty years.  Buzz was a charter boat operator out of Westport, WA when he was 19 in 1963.   His passion for sport fishing has never ceased since.  He fishes Washington State year round for salmon, steelhead, and targets species such as halibut, lingcod, sea bass, and dungeness crab when in season.  Buzz's decision to offer an Alaskan style charter on the coast of Washington has been a big hit.  With his 28' custom built aluminum charter boat outfitted with only the finest gear available he caters to just four fishermen per day.  If you've fished on the Westport charter boats or charter boats out of Ilwaco then you know that sometimes fishing with fifteen or twenty other fisherman can sometimes be frustrating and ruin the fun.  Plus your fish will be bleed, dressed and iced for quality table fare that you have never seen on another Westport charter boat.  But with Buzz and only four fishermen at a time you'll receive the personal attention you want when spending a day on the ocean catching king and coho salmon or whatever else you'll be targeting.  If the rivers in Western Washington are the place to be for summer run steelhead, spring Chinook, fall salmon, you name it..Buzz will be there too!  Buzz's boats are mobile and he'll be on top of every hot fishing spot throughout the seasons to ensure you the best fish catching opportunity.

Erik's passion to be a fishing guide started when he was just twelve years old in the Bering Sea of Alaska while helping his father with the summer salmon tendering jobs on the crab boat.  When the opportunity arose to be a deckhand on a charter boat in Alaska in 1998 he jumped onboard and hasn't looked back since.  "I feel incredibly fortunate to have a father with such a vast knowledge of boat handling and boating safety, not to mention incredible fishing skills that he's passed on to me since I was just four years old."  When Erik isn't in Alaska chasing trophy halibut, bottom fish, and salmon, he's in Washington State on the rivers during the fall months hunting down salmon and then guides all winter for steelhead.    Our guests while onboard are our first and biggest priority.
